Find Eri is an immersive psychological horror game about ghosts, loop, and unspoken truths from the era of Japan’s economic bubble.

Story Summary:
2012, Japan.
Tokyo, in the aftermath of the economic bubble’s collapse, is filled with the scent of decay under the lingering shadow of past prosperity.
You are a detective, contacted by a client to investigate a missing person case.

Loops are the law of the world.
Some are trapped in time, some in obsession, and an entire era is trapped in its own reflection.
When we discovered this exciting theme, we wanted to use the game to express our thoughts about humanity struggling in a time that keeps repeating itself.

Eri's Loop: the never-ending “Izayoi”
She died at the most beautiful moment of the bubble. Her soul was nailed to that night—the moon not quite waning, the prosperity not yet extinguished.

Shouya's Loop: the curse of obsession
In the endless repetition of actions, he is forever trapped in his memories and obsessions.

The economic Loop: the bubble never dissipates
In the 1980s, everyone in Japan believed that prosperity would last forever.
Humans never truly awaken—
A new bubble is brewing, a new “Eri” is being born.
The economy will recover, the frenzy will reignite, the collapse will come again.
History does not repeat itself, but it rhymes.
Eri, trapped in the youthful days of beauty.
Shouya, trapped in his obsessions.
And the economic cycle, endlessly collapsing and reviving—
While we, in the torrent of the times, can only be carried along.
The economy will recover, the frenzy will reignite, the collapse will come again.
